Just had the distributer changed as the drive cog splines were worn and it let go on the road, since it has been changed I get a intermittant missfire and there is a power dropoff when under load or going up hill it misfires as well when changing gear.

Have you replaced the plug wires? My 1999 would miss, but only between 50-55 mph under load. I changed plugs and wires and runs fine now.

Thanks for the reply but problem fixed It was the new Distributer, would you beleive it, it would not calibrate and the bogging was due to a drop in fuel presure at 3500 rpm pressure droped below 55lbs
