Hopefully you get a reply soon. I have a 2001 GMC Sierra w/273,000 miles and the check engine light is on and it gave us a P0430 code last week. I need to know what to replace so it will pass the smog test!
Rasmataz: Thank You. I am just wondering because I have the 4.8 ltr, it says "Oxygen storage ability of catalyst (right cylinder bank) below calibrated threshold" Does this mean I can get away with new O2 sensor, and which ones do I replace? Or am I screwed because I cannot afford to replace the Cats?

Dunno -could be an exhaust leak, O2 sensor or the Cat. Check/Test the downstream oxygen sensor
