1989 GMC Sierra Truck won't idol and engine floods

The truck will start but idols too high. After it warms up it floods and won't start again unless the gas pedel is to the floor. It quits when you put it in gear to drive. I have replaced the oxygen sensor and the idol air control modular. What do I try next?

Hi, thanks for the donation. Any trouble codes, you should be able to check codes, yourself. Are the injectors leaking? How long since a tune-up? Use a gage and check fuel pressure. If temp related, sometimes the cts can cause issues. I'm not saying replace anything, I need a direction.
