Out of options. Bad ECU?

Heres the story. Few weeks ago my 2000 pontiac firebird v6 was left on until it ran out of gas and had no power. That same day prior to that car was sputtering and stalling. Also my dash llights went completely out. And my check engine light came on and off. After all that the car would shut off at every light I came to. I found it was a bad fuel pump and replaced it (we confirmed it was the pump) after replacing the pump and driving about 20 miles the car shut off again. We checked the relay, the oil pressure sensor, it is an OEM pump and I think it may be the ECU. Any suggestions (already replaced the air flow sensor and fuel filter ( been getting alot of codes lately and then they go away) and I already checked the fuses as well

What are the exact symptons on the 2nd stall? Do you have fuel, spark? Also does your engine turn over and not start. OEM pumps are a common failure--they are not the magic bullet people think.

The car started and drove for 20 miles or so and even now it starts when it's cold for about 2 seconds and then cuts off.I can hear the hissing sound the pump makes when I turn the ignition and the car tries to start, it just cant.

How many miles do you have and type of engine?

I suspect the oil pressure switch because the fuel pump circuit goes through it depending on the engine type.

I have a 3.8l v7 with 124,000 miles. I replaced the oil pressure switch at the same time I replaced the air flow sensor.(Sorry I called it an "oil pressure sensor" earlier)

Hi, for what its worth I had the same problems with a friends car, same symptoms, fuel pump replaced, servo replaced, still kept dying. It ended up being a wire that was chaffed through and grounded itself out when the engine got warm. The wire came from the oil switch and went to the ecu, drove me nuts!
