Harmonic Balancer removal!

How do I keep my engine from turning while I am trying to remove my harmonic balancer wheel with a puller?I have a 94 Impala SS with the LT1.
I hav ethe puller all connected and I try turning the puller to extract the wheel and once it tightens the crankshaft turns along with it preventing resistance needed to allow proper function of the puller.

When I had to change the H B on my Mercury I had to jam it tight with a 2x4, so that it would not move while I turned the nut.
It's a pain and you may need another set of hands.
