took the auto to the dealer to have trailer light plug installed, I have running lights only. The dealer said that it would cost 700.00 dollars to change the fuse box and install the light plug to have all lights work properly.
what is the big problem with installing a trailer light plug on this car?

The stupid thing is that they decided make 2 different fuse blocks. The would have been smart to use just one. The problem is that the lamps are now controlled by the body control module, which means low voltage controlled instead of the old fashioned way. The new fuse block has all the provisions for the trailer wiring. If I were you I would call general motors customer service and complain. You never know, they might cover the cost of the fuse block or at least split it with you.
