I checked out the post on this subject. But I still need help.
My 99 gmc with a two y.O. Fuel pump, and a month old engine is having a hard time starting when it sits overnight. I assume it's a bad fuel pump check valve but I'm not sure. I hear it could be a bad Fuel reg.
Also check this out.
It will crank until the batt. Is almost dead, BUT 1 (one) shot of gogo juice and she will fire up and keep running like nothing was wrong. It will do this every time. Sometimes tho it will fire after cranking for a bit (1 min.) But sometimes it wont fire at all untill it gets the JUICE and then like I said all is fine for the rest of the day.
Thanks all.

Sounds like a pump and/or a pump connector issue.

Those year BM pickups had connector trouble that would affect the pump.

You need to check the fuel pressure. IT probably isn't at a high enough level on a cold start. It can run at a slightly lower psi, but won't start the engine.

Thanks, the fuel psi is good while running but I have not checked it in the AM due to the fact I dont have acc. To a fuel psi gauge at that time.
What would I expect to pay for one?
