On a 99 it is part of the front wheel hub assembly. What code did you get that says it is the wheel sensor? Depending on the code it may not be bad, it may be a case of rust/crud buildup between the sensor and the hub. It could also be a bad connector on the wiring or a bad harness to the ABS unit.

If it is a bad sensor you can buy them from the dealer IF this is a factory hub. If it has been replaced the sensor may not fit unless it comes from the same company. Stupid but I have seen it more than once.

If you are SURE it is the sensor and you don't know about the hub you will likely want to replace the entire wheel hub. They are NOT cheap. $300.00 for a mid grade unit up to $600.00 for a dealer part.
