We try to turn the car over and nothing happens, we checked the starter, and it came back good, we got told to check the wires and my husband said they are good. So we are wondering what it could be?

Welcome to the forum, check the crank fuse in the fuse box. Use a testlite, the circuit should be hot with the key in the start position.

There is also a starter relay, my info says it is located, center rear of engine compartment.

The purple wire at the starter solenoid, should be hot with the key in the start position. Always make sure the tranny is in park or neutral and the e-brake is set.
