1997 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1997 s-10 blazer with a 4.3 motor and i want to install a 99 s-10 4.3 motor, will it work? If so what do i have to change?

We always recommend a direct replacement because everything will need changed, sensors, vaccum lines, injectors (and maybe intake), eiring harnesses... The engine should work, but remember they change things all of the time and I don't have a cross reference to check.
