1996 GMC Jimmy why my suv shuts down after I got a new TPS

I got a this 1996 GMC JIMMY SLT and I got a new Throttle Position Sensor put in and I was told my suv was not goin to shut down anymore but it stills does and I dont know why and I would like to know why it shuts down yet so I can take care of it right away so plz get back to me about it

Check the fuel pressure with a pressure gauge calibrated for your fuel system. If it checks out-find the idle air control valve take it out and clean it and the air bypass passage. The IACV job is to maintain the idle at all times and controlled by the computer as programmed.
