1993 GMC C2500 Squealing When Truning Sharp

My truck squeals very loudly when making a sharp turn either way and it only happens when i am moving though. Any thoughts to what the problem is?

Hi there,

I would be first checking the condition of the pump drive belt and also make sure that the power steering fluid is topped up, start here.

The fluid is fine and the belt has minor cracks in it but is in good condition. It sounds more like a metal against metal squeal or plastics.
