1989 GMC C1500 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

This truck has given me nothing but problem. It runs but not very well. I have recently replaced spark plugs and wires, throttle body, map sensor, fuel pump and done a little exaust system work, I dont know the exact name of it but I guess there is some sort of vacume thing that connects to the throttle body and when that is connected the truck will turn over to start but not stay running. So at the moment it is not hooked up and it runs but it stalls when going up hills and runs bad in general. I have no idea where to go from here. Please help

Engine performance problems are usually related to fuel problems have you change the fuel filter? Have you checked your fuel pressure? Try to do that diagnosis, and let me know.
