While stopped, I proceeded to drive and then heard a grinding noise which then a popping noise and the grinding stopped and the ABS and electronic stability control came on. The menu read "Service brake electrical system." I thought maybe the brakes so had all brakes and rotors replaced and now its even worse. I got a check engine light which showed "P0700" Transmission Control System Malfunction and the transmission was going in and out. ABS and electronic stability control lights are on. Please help

Brake rotors and linings aren't part of the electrical system. Code 700 just means there are other diagnostic fault codes in the Transmission Computer. The ABS warning light means there are codes in the Anti-lock Brake Computer. The place to start is by reading and recording those codes. They will indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis. Reading codes in both of those computers requires a scanner that can access them. Simple code readers only read codes in Engine Computers.
