My 1996 geo prizm wont go in third gear, i've been going from second to fourth, how do I fix this?

Probably a cable is loose. There should be two cables connecting to trans. Inspect the hold downs and brackets, make sure they are tight.

If OK, then check linkage at shifter, you will have to remove console for this.
