1995 Geo Prizm Old Gas

I've got a Prizm that's sat for about a year and a half. I didn't have a chance to put sta-bil in the gas first so it's got to be really bad by now. What's the best way to go about cleaning the gunk out? Will sta-bil help now? Thanks in advance for any help.

Shiphon all the gas out of tank and change fuel filter. Fill tank and add a can of Seafoam to tank.

Your welcome.

Gasoline will go bad in 30-60 days, turning into a thick varnish which will clog up everything.

Stabil or SeaFoam will prevent this.
