Gear Problem

If I start my car, the first and second gear is not what it used to be. In fact when I accelerate, it looks as if the car is standing at a place and be making some noise.

Check oil level and condition first, the oil should be bright red and not dark and smell as if it is burnt, the noise is a problem, there may be internal damage as well, if the oil is okay, you will have to get it to a transmission specialist for some hands on diagnosis, start here.
