I have had issues with my car for the past year and a half with this exact issue. I will make a long story short.
My 10 AMP fuse that is in the box under the dash keeps blowing. It is the "10A cluster" fuse. It controls the dash lights, A/C system and the seat temperature control. After a couple of trips to the shop, it was found that my aftermarket car starter was connected to that line and that was probably the reason why it was still blowing. So got the car starter removed and the fuse replaced. Now every once in a while, the fuse will blow but I have been able to just replace it on my own. The fuse has blown 2 times today and I have no idea why.

Hi,

If it keeps failing, that indicates a short or an issue with the cluster. Has it improved since the remote start was removed?

As far as the problem, I attached the wiring schematic for the instrument cluster. I highlighted the wire that receives power from the fuse you mentioned.

Here is where I would start. First, make sure when the remote start was removed, nothing was left exposed. Next, locate the green wire with an orange tracer at the cluster connection. Inspect the connector for damage to the connector pins and make sure the connection is tight.

Do this and let me know the results.

Take care,

Joe

See pics below. Note: I had to cut the schematic in two so you could read it. I did overlap the two so you can follow from one to the next.
