Can you send me a diagram for all fuse boxes with labels? Am looking at the one behind the glove box and am seeing an on/off switch I have never seen before on these.

Hi,

I was able to find the fuse box behind the glove box for the 3 series. It correlates with your production date. There are a lot of fuses in that box.

Take a look at the attachments. Let me know if this helps.

Take care,

Joe

Thanks for the help. I was hoping it will have something about what this on/off button is for.

Hi,

I'm sorry. I forgot to tell you. (It has been a long day, LOL). That switch is used to turn off certain electrical components such as the clock, radio, or anything that can cause an unnecessary power draw. Its function is to basically prevent battery drain if the vehicle is going to be parked for an extended period of time or is to be transported.

I hope it helps.

Take care and let me know if you have other questions.

Joe

I see. I have seen those on 7 series, but never on 3 series. Maybe it's on option for new buyers. Thanks a lot. I removed the dme and had a friend check it out. He saw no corrosion, but based on online reading many state that the mofsets cause many issues on these cars. He said one of the resistor is not reading as strong as others. I am going to try to send it in for repair. Most likely the dme is shot.

Hi,

Anything is possible. If possible, could you let me know what you find and if that takes care of the issues? I'm interested in knowing and feel it will likely help others as well.

Thanks and take care,

Joe
