I changed the fuel filter on my car listed above diesel. It started and then shut off after 10 seconds. It then would turn over but wouldn’t start. Now it has stopped turning over and only a clicking noise remains. What should I do?

Hi,

I'm not sure why, but this engine isn't listed in my manuals. If you are not in the US, that could be why.

However, if you are getting only a clicking sound, then chances are the battery is dead from trying to start it so many times. Take a look through this link and let me know if it mirrors what you are experiencing.

If it does, then the battery needs recharging. Here is a link to help.

Because I have no technical info on the no-start condition, what I suggest is to see if the injectors need bleeding. Basically, air can create a pocket and prevent fuel from entering the engine.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.
