Is it necessary to have an alignment done after replacing the front struts?

Hi Shawn,

Yes and No, technically you should have it done but if the struts are installed in the exact same place as the old olds and the car drives straight you should be okay. I attached the procedure. It states at the end to perform an alignment as needed but this is assuming that the three nuts in the top of the tower go back in the same place. However, you are removing and reinstalling the major component as it relates to camber and caster.

Whenever I would perform this repair, I would always perform an alignment.
