Hooked battery up backwards!

Please help, our battery was hooked up backwards and now we cannot get the 89 van to start. What could it be. Checked all the fuses, replaced starter, battery and cylinoid. What could it be? Won't start.

From the sound of it you fried the voltage regulator check it you may find your problem. Does it crank over? Could have cooked the ignition module or the ECM

Maybe it's your computer? A friend of mine blew his computer like that.
