The engine speed when cold fluctuates until it warms up then it idles fine. What do you think could be the problem? I have replaced the plugs fuel and air filters. I have also noticed that at the end of summer the idle speed did not kick up all the time when I turned the A/C on. Is it possibly related? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim.

I would start with checking the throttle positoning sensor. Have you had it scanned? If you did and it comes upw ith a po123, po222, po223, po122, these codes are desiginated to the tps. That would cause the difference with the ideling.

I would have it scanned for trouble codes.
