1994 Ford Thunderbird Misfire 6

My check engine light comes on and it starts to flash. I took my code reader and it sayed misfire of 6. Please can you help me. It eats up gas too. I dump $100 bucks a week alone in gas. I got white and some times blue smoke out of my tailpipes. When I drive it you can smell a strong gas smell. I have replace engine seals, sparkplugs and wires, new gaskets. Gas leaks from tailpipes. After I turn it off and come back to it you can smell gas really bad. Please Help Me. THANK YOU

Check the fuel pressure regulator and injectors if its leaking

Check all that is all good. I replace the computer and the check ing light went off for now. Its still misfiring thought.

Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following:

1. Defective spark plug.
2. Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug wire.
3. Lack of compression
4. False air leakage.
5. Faulty fuel injectors.
6. Insufficient fuel pressure.
7. Contaminated fuel.
8. EGR valve that is leaking.
9. Oxygen sensors.
