1994 Ford Thunderbird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

hi again. I have a 94 thunderbird with a 4.6 engine and a crap AODE tranny. Will a rebuilt AODE tranny from a 93 5.0 mate to the 4.6?
if not, what are my options?

It must be a 4.6 you can use one out of a couger, crown vic, mercery grand Marquis

I read an article about using a 5.0 safety bellhousing on a 4.6 engine. I think I can use this method to put a 5.0 aode trans. Onto the 4.6 engine. Should I use the 4.6 torque converter or does it matter. What else should I consider?

If youre using a trany out of a 5.0 you will need to use 5.0 converter and you will need to change the flywheel to bolt it up
