Need more info on when/where it wont start. What about glow plugs? Are they all good? And I use to put a gallon or less of gas in my almost full tank of deisel to help it start in cold weather.

Glow plugs are almost new and we added a heater that we plug in. Lost a tractor to gas in tank, wouldn't do that. Thanks

The ususal reason for hard starting deisels is low compression. A small amount of gas raises the octane? I used to do it all the time, no problems. Or try kerosene instead of gas? Or why not just get another car? Do you get deisel for free or something? You could also put synthetic oil in the crankcase as it will help car crank faster in cold. I used slick 50 in 1 of my deisels and that thing never faied to crank fast and start!
