ABS Light and Brake Light - Check Engine Light

I have a 2005 Ford Taurus SE v6, about 56,600 miles. My car has been to two Ford dealership. My problems was; ABS Light and Red Brake Light comes on for about 4sec and I get a message in my information center " Check Brake System", the care would lose power and once I press the brakes, things would return. But at times I would lose total power and would have to pull over to the side of the road switch the car off and re-start. But once I arrive to where I was going, I would switch the car off and it would may a ticking noise, like the computer resetting itself. I had a funny noise coming from the right front side of the car, can be heard inside the car anywhere from 40 to 80+ mph. The 1st dealership, took a month to get my car back. Replace the 'Instrutemnt Cluster' 3 times and one was from another car and still had the same problem. They couldn't tell me why it was not fix, so I took it to another Ford dealersihip with the same problem and check "Engine Light". The 2nd dealership said that "Ford is investigating has no known repair at this time, cleared codes". So after taken my car back 2 time for my check engine, no clear answer and a bill, I took it to Auto Zone and was told it was a senor in my gas tank. Need help? What to do? I know nothing about cars.

For starters we need all the codes out of the PCM. The ABS system and engine system have both stored codes if the lights are on, have Autozone scan it and get back to us. There are simply too many things that it could be to guess

Got the codes back, the Ford dealership was so pissed off, they didnt' clear my check engine light. The guy said that " I only wanted to codes, not to clear the light. I told him I might have not said to clear the light, but I did say I wanted to know what the codes was and didn't get that. And they still didn't tell what the codes means.

They didn't say anything about my car needing any repairs, just " you wanted the codes and you had someone to read them. They keep telling me that Adavance Auto don't have the same codes. Thats a lie, took the car to them and they read the same codes and I could see what each code mean. So who's lie'ing.

Have nothing installed on the car since I had the car. I got the car used in Feb 2006. I did have an extra spare key made by a ford dealership because they had to program the key.

Have small key chain discount tags, no magnetic strips on any.

The first time it might had happen Feb 2007, but it really start at the end of March 2007. They kept my car for a week, said they could not find anything wrong with the car. That Easter Sunday, I test drove the car on the interstate, the problem was happening more, the ABS light and Brake light, lost total electrical power to the car, had to pull off the road and restart the car. After taking it back, they kept my car for about a month. Had 3 instrutment Cluster pull on the car and still have the same problems and more other things started happening.

I live in Atmore, Alabama north of Mobile, Alabama.

I have not been able to use my keyless remote in a while, when this problem occur, it kills my remote. But at times, the remote will unlock 1 door, not all four and will do nothing else.

The last time that problem happen (ABS Light and Brake Light - Check Engine Light) was last weekend, after I fill up with gas. It might be today or a week from now, its hard to say. Have had started the car up in the mornings to warm and no dash panal working until I reach work or 15 mins later. Once at work and would switch the car off, I would hear a ticking noise, like somthing resetting.

Ford dealership said 'they can't tell what the problem unless they see and hear.' I told him, It don't happen every day. Its the luck of the draw.

The remote is not on the keyring.

At the time I added the gas, the car was not running, but I have before 4-5 time left the car running while at the pump.

My cap don't click, it tightens. I also have a light for my gas cap if left off.

Trying to remember all that has happen in the last couple days, also notice last week, while the car in park, I have day running lights, the headlights and inside light would dim and brighten from time to time. :) :) :)
