2004 Ford Taurus LEAKS A RED LIKE FLUID

Hello I have a ford taurus that leaks red like fluid and I dont want it to break down on me in the middle of no where so was wonderind what could it possibly be? Please help I dont know cars just drive them

Red fluid is either automatic transmission fluid or power steering fluid. In some instances it could be long life coolant also. You will need to check around each of these components (transmission, power steering pump and radiator) to see if you can pinpoint the location of the leak. May not be a bad idea just to take it to a local repair shop.
