So when I accelerate and hit 40 miles an hour I get a hiccup, like my engine is puffing. It happens only in the 40 to 48mile an hour range. What is causing this? It doesn't happen at any other speed range. I've been asking around and I need to hone in this. I appreciate your help

Do you have any check engine light on and if so should be checking for codes

if no light and no codes
suspect and check the Tranny

There's no check engine light or anything. What should I be checking the tranny for? Just the linkages or do I have to drop it?
