1999 Ford Taurus

My daughter has a1999 Tarus and about a week ago we noticed that the front right brake was sticking really bad. I went ahead and purchased a new caliper and thought that would do it but the following day it started doing it again, when I say sticking it gets to the point that it starts smoking and you can not touch it because it is so hot. Any thoughts on what this could be. Also, when this first starting happening her ABS light starting coming on and off. Would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks. PS: I would offer if I could but things are that tight right now, I would understand 100% if nobody wants to answer
