1997 Ford Taurus Smell inside the passenger compartment of

When ever I drive my car above 80 km /hour (50 miles/hour) speed, We feel a smell like carbon. But at low speeds such as below 40km/hour no smellat all what is the reason?

Can you describe this "carbon" smell a little bit better?

Are the fluids full or are they low? If so which ones are low?

Have you checked the cabin air filter?

Does it do it with outside air turned off?

Level of engine coolent goes low and I always top it up once in 7 days. If un noticed colent level become very very low. I feel some times engine temperature goes up.

This smell comes even when out side air is turned off.
