If you wreck and hit back quarter panel ofthe drives side would the fuel injection system shut down completely when hit?

It sure will. There is an inertia switch to shut down the fuel system in case of a leak when hit. It is located in the right rear cargo area behind the wheel well. Ther eis a reset button to push, then the fuel pump will work again, but check for leaks before driving
