i have a p1000 code. How do you get this code out of computer? No other codes are present.

Hello and thanks for donating!

You must use a diagnostic scanner to reset the trouble codes stored. DO NOT disconnect the battery to clear codes. This will erase opearting information from Keep-Alive Memory (KAM) and cause driveability problems.

Code p1000 is an information code and
is an indication that the battery was disconnected or the PCM was reset
and have not yet complete a driving cycle
the only way to clear that code is by driving and completing a drive cycle once to conditions met the code will clear itself
will not be able to get a sticker if have this code because monitor system is not ready
