I looked at a 91 ford taurus Gl 3.0L v-6, it needs a/c replaced, new heater core, motor mounts f/r, needs bearing in differential repaired, what would the price range to get all this done. The owner is selling it for $600, is this car worth buying? I'm a first time car buyer.

That depends on a lot of things. How much mileage does it have? Any rust on the body? Interior in good shape? It only books for around $700 in good running condition with 100k mileage and minimal to no rust. Costs for repairs will easily be over $100 just for parts. If you find the right mechanic with fair pricing (or do it yourself) you could end up paying right around the fair price range if the car is in good shape (other than what is mentioned).

To have the heater core done at a shop expect to pay no less then $550
as for the AC it need to be checked
as it may range in price depending on what it needs (there is no cap )
I would keep on looking I can do the work my self and will not attempt to buy this car not worth it
(my opinion you are buying a $500 car for $600 and still need work )

need manual CHECK IT @
