The plug number you listed you can no longer get is a double platnuim plug thats why it ends with two P's. If the truck burned a lot of oil I would steer clear of the platnuim plugs. They carbon foul.

They make a couple of tool's to help remove them there is a plier type and a 90 degree hook tool I have seen. You could try one of those if your having a lot of trouble. You end up replacing the wire's if it's really on there I have seen wire's come apart removing them.

Run the engine untill shes hot, then being very careful, the most careful youve ever been try to break them loose now. Should be easy. After that what you do is thread them back in and torque um down to the specs wait for the engien to cool then remove again and your good to go. Let it cool as to not screw up the threads

Not as hard as they look, you need two swivals, one 10 inch or so ext.I have same truck. Take your time,
but with just those tools it is easy.

Had the same problem on my 95. Finally found that using a tent stake (the hooked end) would fit in there and I got the wires off. Not what I'd call OEM, but it worked.
