MY Ford Ranger makes a loud howling sound at 55 mph
It is quieter at 60 mph and at 50 mph.
I have new tires on the car and they are less aggresive than the old tires.
Sometimes when traveling at 45mph and I slightly increase the speed there is a hesitation or stutter in the transmission like and air bubble? If I push the accelerator down hard it doesn't do this. If I manually shift out of overdirive it doesn't do this.
Thank you in advance for your help with my problems

I am thinking wheel bearings. Have you checked brakes?
