I purchased my truck in February and had new brake pads put on, and had a rotor and brake hose replaced on the passenger side. It has always made a clunking noise in the front when I use the brake and the brakes kind of pump back at you. Now I have a rhythmic clunk when I am driving. I have also just recently been hearing what I can only describe as and aircraft engine winding up when I press on the gas peddle, and I am also hearing another noise on top of that that gets worse when I press on the gas peddle. This noise sounds more like something spinning. Can you please give me some ideas as to what the issue is? I dont know if I have described it well enough, but if there is anyone out there that can help I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Check the cv joints.

But also with that clunkign id have to say sounds like the brake caliper is loose and when you hit the brakes it spins and hits on the steering kknuckle and the slide pins and causes that clunk on the braking.

Check that.

Thanks very much, the clunking noise was the caliper. As far as the other noise I am taking it to my mechanic today to see what he has to say but before I go I will have a friend check the CV joints. Thanks again for the response much appreciated.
