I lost power in my 98 ford ranger 4x4 when I drove a half a mile, and come to find out that 3 of the 6 cylinders were soaked with gas and to top it off my truck has been running hot. Can you help me?

I would do a fuel pressure test to rule out (or not) a fuel system problem.
Check the condition of your spark plugs in those cylinders; it could tell you some on the shape of your engine.
