My 96 Ranger just came out of the shop to get timing belt replaced. Now it has not power. It idles fine, but 1/4 pedal down gets no power. The mechanic double checked timing, mass air flow sensor, cadalidic converter, coil, compression, fuel pressure, and none of these were it. Neither of us know what to do. Can you please help.

Check the throttle position sensor it gives the computer the position of the throttle and indicates throttle pressure for the transmission to provide upshifts/downshifts/lock up thru the shift solenoids.
