1995 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

This is a generic questiion. How do you remove the bolts that hold the exhaust manifold to the head. They always seem like they are welded and always break.

About the only thing you can try is penetrating oil, soak it and let it work overnite.

Try soaking them for a few days in penetrating oil, then when your ready to remove it start the vehicle up and let it get warm, then carefuly not to burn yourself hit the heads with a hammer, then I ususally use a impact wrench on low power or a long breaker bar and slowly take them off, if they snap off drill them and retap them.
