I have replaced Booster & mastercylinder also rear wheel cyl. L I have excellent pedal and it stops great. But you must put your toe under the brake pedal and lift, less then a inch, before brakes release! I found no place for a return spring to the pedal and have been told FORD didn't use return springs! I tried [2] separate mastercylinders only one new booster! Does the booster aid in returning the pedal? Any HELP would be appreciated! Thanks in advance Bob

Ifyou got a master cylinder for drum brakes and you have a disc system that could be your problem and vice versa. Or the booster may not be correct either. Other than that can't think of anything else.
