1989 Ford Probe Power steering

Hi, my wifes car has a little troble with the power steering, sometimes it works and somtims it dosen`t.
The second problem is, her "engien check" light coms on, but then it goas out again.

Hi there,

I would first get the fault code seen to. Get it read and see what it says is the cause of the fault. Rectify this first, then look into the power steering fault. There I would be having the pump inspected first
