2000 Other Ford Models Two Wheel Drive Automatic 74500 miles

I have a 2000 motorhome. Ford chassis and engine (V10). The speedometer won't go over 38 mph? I've replaced the instrument cluster and the speed sensor on the differental. It has a 4 wheel ABS brake system as well. I have welded to the chassis within the last month but I disconnected the batteries. Any suggestions?

Hi billymac here . On the tail of the trans there is a speed sensor held into trans by one bolt a plug is plugged into sensor. Remove the sensor take to ford parts buy the right speedo drive gear they are color coded ford can make sure it is the right one also these are plastic so the teeth wear out and speedo will be inacurate. Hope this helps billymac
