My 1988 bronco 2 will just randomly die, if you wait a few minutes it waill start rite back up. There are no certain times when it does it, prety much when it feel like it. The engine acts like you just turn the key off, I have tried a new coil, oil pressure sener. Im just not sure wat else would make it die like that

Hi krmann1189, sorry for the delay-Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation and selecting us as your auto repair site Feel free to ask questions at anytime and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2010

Lets hook-up a fuel pressure gauge and monitor the fuel pressure-when there's a problem with the fuel pump it will show as sore thumb if within specs-check and test the distributor pick-up coil resistances and air gap, and last the ignition control module then report back with some testing results
