1978 Other Ford Models car starting seat belt warning buzze

Car was driving along and stop engine would turn over but willp not start but somtimes it will start and run when I thjink its fix I go to start and it wont start again I noticed when it would not start I did not hear the buzzers like seatbeelt and iginition buzzers come on it seems its turning over but when I let go of iginiton key it stops if I wiggle wire under steering column it started I dont know if that was a accident so I need help with car intermintly not starting Its a 1978 ford mustang 2 I disconected the conector to the back of fuse box reconnected and the seat belt buzzer and oil lite came on and car started

This is sounding like a loose wire connector at the fuse box or a loom plug that may be corroded, the only way to check this out is the wiggle test, with the engine rumming carefully feel the loom at the back of the fuse box and move all the wires a little taking note if there are any odd reactions, unfortunately this is a bit of a hit and miss method but it can be very effective in locating loose connections.
