Mustang engine removal

I have a 68 Mustang with a 289 engine and auto trans. Is it possible to pull the engine with the transmission still attached without removing the grill assembly?

Hello,
I have had 2 engines, 302 and a 351, both put in with my father's help. It's just a matter of taking the hood off, just to have clearance to pitch the engine/tranny at angled positions to clear the radiator support and put it in place. Hope this help.
