I just recently got into a little fender bender with my Mustang. Not too bad, some paint was chipped off my front bumper and the bumper appears to be lose, maybe a bolt was stripped. So my question is a 2 part one. First, what is the best way to apply original paint to a car, kind of like a touch up job? I have heard people say that you don't need to use a brush or anything like that. Secondly, I have a long drive ahead of me tomorrow, and I don't want to have to worry about the bumper getting so loose while I'm driving, what should I do about that? The bumper seems farily sturdy except for one side that can be moved when I apply some pressure to it. Any help would be much appreciated!

Best bet is to see if you can find out where it has come loose to see what kind of damage was done and if it can be fixed. If it is just the corner and you have to try to make it move, you should be ok to drive it. As far as touch up paint goes, it is a roll of the dice, the best bet would be to have the entire bumper repainted.A good body shop will be able to come real close to the original look. The problem is with weather and use, the paint does change a tiny bit and will be almost impossible to match exactly no matter how it is repaired
