My car starts and it will not idle unless I hold the gas until it warms up? When it was runing before this problem it has a miss to it until about 2000 rpm ive gave it a tune up and it still does it?

First thing you need to do is have the codes read, Autozone does it free, Post the results with the code number(s).
Even if the check engine light is not on, you may have freeze frame data stored that will help, It sounds like the engine coolant temp sensor tho.
