1992 Ford Mustang gears wont shift when I press clutch

I was driving one day and I was attempting to shift into third gear when it would not let me go into it and all of a sudden I heard a little noise like a pop and after that my clutch felt sofer and I could not shift into any gears I can start the car in first gear and it will take off this also happend to another car of mine and a guy said my flywheel bent what is your opinion

Try to troubleshoot your clutch system. Start with the master then move on to the slave. If the two are functional, its more than likely your pressure plate. That pop sound you heard was probably the throw-out bearing.. Good luck. Larry
