I have the shocks now I need a step by step process to do this right. Can you help me? Also I need to replace the gas tank and need to know how to do that. I have the new tank and sender.

Joe,

Both jobs are very straight forward. There will be two steel straps holding the old fuel tank in place. Remove them, remove the tank and sending unit, and reverse to replace.

As far as the shocks, two bolts hold them on. Just remove the bolts, remove the old shocks and replace them with the new ones.

Joe, this is a 65 Mustang and I don't see any straps. The tank appears to be sitting in the truck so just remove the bolts, disconnect the filler hose and sender and lift out I think.
